Rental Terms & Conditions
Cancellation and modification conditions
Your reservation can be cancelled free of charge only 5 days after your deposit has been paid.
Cancellation after this time limit costs the reservation fee that was paid as your reservation deposit.
In the case of non-completion or we are unable to contact you to arrange delivery, your deposit will be charged as cancellation fee.
Credit card / Paypal guarantee conditions
Your reservation must be guaranteed by your Card / PayPal payment of €100/€300/€200 or other amount agreed before the reservation, subject to merchant fees of 5%, the rest paid on the day as agreed with our team.
Renter responsibilities
The RENTER shall keep and maintain the rented equipment during the terms of the rental at his own cost and expense. He shall keep the equipment in a good state of repair.
Late Returns
The RENTER will return the equipment at agreed time. Or LATE FEE will apply. More than 1 hour late= €50. 2hrs+= €100. 4hrs+= €150. 6hrs+= 1 days additional rental
Collections from our shop that are not returned
If you collected from our shop but did not return the equipment as planned, if we need to collect from address of use, we have the right to charge between €100 -€200 emergency 1-way collection charge, depending on the distance and difficulty level.
We will also inform the police who will stop you at the border when you are attempting to exit the Island.
Residents will also be visited by our debt collection team.
Damaged or missing equipment
The RENTER shall pay the OWNER full compensation for replacement and / or repair of any equipment which is not returned because it is lost or stolen or any equipment which is damaged and in need of repair. To put it into the same condition it was in at the time of rental. The OWNER’s invoice for replacement or repair is conclusive as to the amount the RENTER shall pay under this paragraph for repair or replacement. This also includes electricity and audio cables, connectors and power supplies.
Location of rented equipment
The RENTER shall not remove the equipment from the address of the RENTER or the location shown herein as the place of use of the equipment without prior written approval of the OWNER. The RENTER shall inform the OWNER upon demand of the exact location of the equipment while it is in the RENTER’s possession.
Additional charges
Our service includes equipment delivery to the door of your location and setup. The same applies with collection.
We have the right to charge extra costs for time and fuel, (up to €150) if the following unforseen incidents may happen:
Your location is difficult to reach in our vehicle (due to difficult or low farm track roads to use to get to your location), and/or it is necessary to carry equipment more than 20 meters from your location door/entrance / involves walking down farm tracks, numerous steps or extended entrances.
Equipment setup
Setup of equipment can be charged as an extra cost, if there is a lot of equipment involved, or if setup is required at a number of different locations extra costs can be added on the day.
When the delivery takes place, you must understand and know the precise location for the setup. There must be adequate electricity supply to run the equipment, less than 25m away (unless otherwise agreed in advance).
If we setup and you decide to change locations, or have equipment moved, additional charges will be required, charged at €70 per hour.
We have the right to add costs the day of delivery. These must be paid before we will setup.
Identification
We ask all of our customers to provide identification to complete their rental agreement.
One person must be named as the responsible party for overseeing the rental. Even if it is a company rental, a photo of the EU card back and front (of the person responsibile for the rental) or passport are acceptable ID.
If a different person pays for the reservation, then we have the right to also request their ID before the rental takes place.
Agreements
When we arrive for delivery and/or setup, you will be required to be there, ready to confirm and sign these terms, with the rented equipment list in full.
Delivery & User Conditions
Please read carefully
Please ensure that you are at the stated delivery address at least 30 minutes before our stated delivery time.
You must have your telephone on and working, be awake, ready and willing to assist the delivery man with your exact proposed location of the speakers / equipment.
OUR EQUIPMENT MUST NOT BE KEPT IN DIRECT SUNLIGHT, OR EXPOSED TO LIQUID OF ANY KIND OR AMOUNT.
For incorrect addresses or GPS markers – We have the right to charge extra costs for time and fuel, if the following unforeseen incidents may happen:
Your location is difficult to reach in our vehicle (due to difficult or low farm track roads to use to get to your location), and/or it is necessary to carry equipment more than 25 meters from your location door/entrance / involves driving or walking down farm tracks, extended entrances or numerous steps.
Time and location changes will only be accepted if stated by the client directly. Wedding organisers or location owners cannot change the times or locations of delivery or collections.
If collection times are changed, we have the right to charge up to €200.
If you do not answer the telephone, respond to our messages, or the car beeping outside, or we are kept waiting for any reason or you do not open the gate and door, ready for delivery at the exact time and we are kept waiting outside, there will be a delivery waiting charge.
This is to ensure you are ready and the gate / door to the property is open, awaiting our driver to get to your gate, drive in and start to unload to setup the equipment.
- 5 minutes waiting = €10
- 10 – 15 minutes waiting = €20
- 15 – 20 minutes waiting = €30
- 20 – 25 minutes waiting = €40
- 25 – 30 minutes waiting = €60
After 30 minutes of waiting, unfortunately we must leave to go to the next delivery, you will have no sound system, any deposit paid, will not be returned and you will owe us the late charge as stated above.
Any Finca Security / Finca administration should be aware of our arrival.
If possible, give us the GATE CODE, so we can drive to your door and knock on the door.
